A cold snap has come into our Florida area, at least cold for us. Pepper has snuggled into one of her favorite cat beds and shows no sign of venturing out. Sugar enjoys the briskness of the air and wanted a longer walk this morning. Of course, I looked like an eskimo walking her around the neighborhood, but she was enjoying herself. Once back at home, Sugar climbed into one of the large dog beds and is down for the count.
It’s comforting to know that the girls’ pet beds provide them such warmth and security. It got me to thinking about all those stray dogs and cats without pet beds to curl up in when it’s gets colder outside. I know shelters are always needing supplies like cat beds and large dog beds, so I decided to wash a couple of the pet beds we had and donate them.
If you have extra cat beds, large dog beds, or any type of extra pet supplies, it’s a great time to share with pets who are less fortunate by making a donation to your local shelters or human society.
