Pet Prattle and Products

I read an article this weekend on latch-key pets and how there are so many more pets being left for hours on end while their humans are working.  What I didn’t know, was how much this stresses them out.  Evidently, when animals get stressed out their body temperature drops and their muscles can tighten up.  Several veterinarians are recommending heated orthopedic pet beds to alleviate these symptoms.

The article didn’t speak to cat beds or cats.  Of course, we all know cats love to curl up in a warm spot, and there are heated inserts available to put in your cat beds to make sure they’re nice and toasty.
