Somedays I watch Pepper and wish I could trade places. She really does lead a charmed life. There are numerous cushions she uses as pet beds, although she has actual cat beds available, too. Pepper has a beautiful screened in lanai and pool area that is considered “her room”. She has a cat door from the main house out to her room so she can come and go as she pleases. She’s an inside cat so this bit of freedom to be outside (screened in) is important to her.
The patio furniture and outside counters are hers to use at will. She especially likes the new patio cushions and uses them as her cat beds. Her pet beds used to be on top of the pool covering materials until the new patio furniture arrived. Of course, she knew they were just for her!! Sleep, eat, play, get loving … yes, I wouldn’t mind trading places at all some days.
