Pet Prattle and Products

This past weekend I was at a major retail pet store buying food and treats for Pepper.  Whenever I go into one of the large retail pet stores, I always check out their pet beds, especially the cat beds and the large dog beds.  I like to see what the major players are carrying.

I got quite a surprise this time when looking at the pet beds section.  Most of the cat beds from a prominent manufacturer had very loose stitching.  It looked like one washing of those cat beds and they’d be ruined.  Then I went to the large dog beds and looked at the same manufacturer.  I found the same thing in those pet beds.

Maybe it was just a bad batch for that manufacturer, but the lesson is always to check the stitching.  This applies to all pet beds, whether purchased at a retail store or on-line.
