If you have a larger breed dog, orthopedic large dog beds  are preferred.  This is due to the additional stress on their joints from their size.  I know if my back is hurting I want to sleep on something that makes it feel better, not worse.

So what do you look for in orthopedic large dog beds? You want to look for high grade and durable outside materials as well as memory foam or virgin fiber materials on the inside.  Memory foam is the best for cushioning and provides a good support system. Memory foam large dog beds will also last longer than fill type large dog beds.

Good orthopedic large dog beds may cost a little more, but it will give your furry friend the best rest and health.
