With the holidays upon us, it’s time to load up all the family, including Pepper the cat and Sugar the dog, for the trip to grandma’s house. The number of families wishing to bring along their pets when traveling is growing and set to rise significantly over the next few years.
The safest way for pets to travel in a car is either in dog carriers, cat carriers or dog crates. This not only protects the pet, but keeps all of us safe from their jumping on the driver and causing an accident.
With all the different dog carriers, small dog carriers, cat carriers and even designer dog carriers available, there are plenty of choices to fit any personality and size.
Sometimes those roadtrips can take awhile, so make sure there’s enough room for your pet to sit up, lie down and turn around in any of the dog crates or carriers you use.
